Proper installation keeps a cabinet AC stable at 7×24. Wrong clearance or power causes poor cooling and frequent starts. Know the three mounts first.
1. Three mounting types
- Wall/side-mount: on cabinet side, most common, standard cabinets;
- Embedded/door-mount: into the door, saves space, clean look;
- Top-mount: blows from cabinet top, for tall/high-heat cabinets.
2. Mounting points
| Item | Requirement | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Surface | Flat, load-bearing | Avoid resonance |
| Air clearance | ≥50mm side / ≥100mm above top | For heat exchange |
| Drainage | Optional drain tube | Needed in humid/washdown |
| Power | 220V or 48V DC | Per model |
3. Customization
Hole size, flange and thickness vary; HCK supports non-standard customization per cabinet — send drawings or dimensions on the custom page for drawings and samples; explosion-proof, 48V DC, C5 anti-corrosion and RS485 available.
4. Install checklist
- Match capacity and mount to the cabinet;
- Flat surface, enough clearance;
- Drain tube in humid sites;
- Wire 220V or 48V DC with reliable ground;
- Confirm non-standard holes by drawing first.
