Cooling Needs of Outdoor BTS Cabinets
RRU, BBU and power units emit steady heat; outdoor cabinets must operate from -40 to 55°C and prevent condensation. Downtime is unacceptable, so the cooling system must be highly reliable.
DC Supply and Redundancy
DC 48V direct supply is preferred, backed by the station battery for continuous operation during grid loss. Dual-unit standby or EC fan redundancy can be configured. Noise must stay below 65 dB(A) for residential approval.
