Before cell thermal runaway, lithium batteries show 1–3 °C/min abnormal rise and CO/H2 off-gassing 5–15 min ahead of smoke. HCK places PT100 sensors (±0.5 °C) at each cluster return air with ≤5 s sampling.

AC Interlock Strategy

On ΔT > 8 °C/30 s or T > 60 °C, the platform raises a pre-alarm and notifies BMS via dry contact/Modbus to isolate the faulty cluster.
Neighbouring clusters' AC switches to boost-cooling, keeping enclosure below 45 °C to slow propagation.
Pre-alarm level links only ventilation and load shedding; the confirmation level hands off to fire protection.
